The movie is a sequel to “Dawn: Portrait of a Teenage Runaway.” This first movie focused on Dawn, whom you see running for help in the opening video. Alexander was a supporting character. This sequel told his story, and how he went from an innocent sensitive farm boy to a Hollywood hustler, with *** celebrities as clients. He later even gets a steady lover (but Alex soon gets replaced by a younger and prettier twink). Was Alex bisexual or merely in it for the money?
From the classic 1977 TV movie, “Alexander: The Other Side of Dawn.” At times sexploitative and sensationalistic, the story is also often told with sensitivity. In fact, it was very progressive and pro-gay for 1977, especially for a TV movie. As far as I know, it has the first TV depiction of a *** support group (see my other video).
