i am sickof people sayin georgia tech has a gimic offence no its not the wishbone is used by almost every highschool in the country so shut up we are just doin it old school
There is no such thing as an outdated offense. And there is really no such thing as a new offense. Everyone is big on the spread these days but the spread is as old as dirt. As Coach Meyer said “Spread formations are not new to football.”. Thats coach Dutch Meyer in his book spread formation football c. 1952. Now everyone is talking about the wildcat which is a modified version of the single wing invented by Pop Warner over 100 years ago. Football moves in ebs and flows.
I love how people say this is an outdated O yet the service academies have been competitive with it with sub par tallent. That and you can’t replicate it in practice and no one else is running it.
I am now a Tech fan simply becuase they are running the Bone
I love this offense. It so easy to stop, only three people are going to get the ball on a particular play (FB dive, Pitch or QB keeper) yet GT runs for 400 yds the past two games. Its so simple yet deadly. Keep it up PJ.
Oh yes, the old “it will never work because the (insert conference)’s defenses are too fast” canard. I love seeing these people eat their words over and over again.
The next five years at georgia southern.

11To defend option you MUST play assignment football. And thats easier said than done. Just as the other ACC schools get faster…so will they.
