Rick Ashley has more musicial ability in his pinky than the Beatles. That’s a joke. Now if you excuse me,I just bought the Jonas Brothers 8-track.K-Tel must be working on overdrive to meet the demand.
I remember watching this live. It was surreal to get the news from Howard Cosell of all people.
The next day at the computer lab at the local community college, the public account’s directory was filled with identical files having names such as those below. (Filenames were limited to 6 characters and could have no extension.)
LENNON
JOHN
JOHNNY
JON
JONNY
XBEATL
…
My favorite was “XBEATL”.
The file was a program that repeatedly printed “John Lennon lives on.”
The old helmet logo like the newer unis too but wish they had left the newer unis too but wish they had left the old helmet logo like the newer unis too but wish they had left the old helmet logo like the newer unis too but.
Nowadays they wouldn’t do that during the game, they would go away from the game and then go to do some 10 min. special report and then go back to the game.
I remember this game, it was New England vs. Miami, a Monday Night game, and Cosell announced Lennon’s death at the urging of co-announcer Frank Gifford.
I just remember being 12 years old, in my parents’ basement, watching the game with my dad when cosell broke the news. it was a terrible way to end that day.
i was watching this game and i was 16, i didn`t know that much about the beatles and was more shocked by the worlds reaction of lennons death. i always thought that paul was the only singer of the BEATLES and that john was just another guitar player. it wasn`t until all the radio station started playing other BEATLES songs then “i wanna hold your hand” and “she loves you” that i started realizing how deep and talented the BEATLES really were, and now knowing why the world was hurt by johns death

7Yeah, and they also became an NFL powerhouse after they switched. But I still prefer “Pat”.

Notice that Pat Patriot was the size of Godzilla. A freaking monster. Flying Elvis is much more preferable.

1731. Give a play-by-play account of a persons every action in a nasal Howard Cosell voice.
